One again, the rain reigned at Randpark during the hosting of the 2012 CGGU Closed Championship. A severe storm broke out at about 2pm and unfortunately, play was not being able to be continued and the results had to be determined using the results from round 1 of the event.

Graeme Vrugtman from Randpark, shot a great 69 in the morning to take the honours after the morning's results had to be used to determine the winner of the event (For the full results, go to www.cggu.co.zafor more information. In second place was the Mid Amateur player, Sean Stapleton form the Wanderers.
